My main focus is Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa Yoga.
My dancing background allows me to prepare class with more excessive flow, which makes the class more fun and different. I always make sure that the class is adjusted to level and likings of my audience. Throughout my class I use a lot of different aromatherapy scents, candles, sound healing instruments, music to underline the theme and character of the specific class.
Hatha Yoga (with candles) - Slow and relaxing
Welcoming and peaceful setting let you to calm your mind and focus on breathing and heart beat. It allows you to slow down, calm your thinking mind, re-connect to inner-self and deepen the stillness, while the body is going in a slow flow through different postures and transitions. The slow flow and deep breathing is a big stress release and has a great impact on nervous system.
The main focus during this class is to quiet your mind accompanied with peaceful meditation. This practice leave you with beautiful feeling of peace and gratitude. Reducing stress.
Vinyasa Yoga (Flow) - Dynamic and strenghtening
Vinyasa is fluent transition of movement through different postures connected with breath and focused on increasing the range of motion. It activates joints and muscles with higher intensity and tempo through "Sun Salutations" and other postures to increase heat in the body. It can be focused on certain theme or it can prepare the body to certain peak position such as split or Hand stand or many other challenging positions. This experience is more focused on strenghtening the body which includes also intense mind focus, own intension and dedication. Can be a good instrument for weight loss and to raise energy level.
Managing your work life, balancing between work deadlines, living healthy and prosperity lifestyle, maintaining and nurturing your private life, texting people back, rest and get some sleep in between, yes, life can be stressful, we all know that. What if I will tell you that there is one super powerful way how to keep your ZEN, balance and mental wellbeing while you are mastering your life. The key way is to meditate, and to meditate every day no matter what.
You learn meditation by meditating. You can do it on your own or follow guided meditation, which can help you especially when you are beginner and it is more fun and the results are better. Especially the beginners might get a bit frustrated on the way and that can discourage them from meditation and its wonderful benefits.
Meditation improves your mental and physical health, it brings you inner peace, balance, calmness and happiness into your life. It diminishes stress, you deal with situations with ease and you find out that you get along better with others.
I like to combine meditation with variety of breathing techniques, sound healing instruments (with stimulating effect on brain), music, using Mantras and talking. All those tools has a significant impact on energy level, state of mind and stress level.
Yoga Nidra - The Hindi translation of Yoga Nidra is "yogic sleep". Yoga Nidra is one of the yogic practice but it is more meditative technique. It brings you into meditative state between wakefulness and sleep. Through guided meditation, your body and thinking mind fall asleep, and you can better reach your unconscious mind. This practice has great healing benefits as well as you feel rejuvenated and deeply relaxed. Your thinking is more clear and your mind is rested, calm and resourceful.
